The Louisiana Department of Treasury has started the Main Street Recovery Grant Program to help small businesses recover from the economic impacts of COVID-19 and keep their doors open. There is $275 million set aside for this program, and businesses can apply for up to $15,000 to cover eligible expenses. Grants will first be issued to qualifying businesses who didn't recieve a Payment Protection Program loan, insurance payment or an Economic Injury Disaster Loan or advance as well as businesses owned by women, minorities and veterans.
